These benefits include a high salary, benefits, and incentives that could reach up to 70% of the annual salary, and the possibility of an annual corporate bonus. Based on these benefits, any employee would work comfortably and remain satisfied. In addition to this standard range of benefits, Saudi bestows a comprehensive medical insurance cover upon its employees that insures the entire immediate family comprising of children, spouses, and parents. Furthermore, the companys optional savings plan dubbed Thrif t Plan caters to the savings needs of the companys employees who are also entitled to a home ownership program. Additionally, there are recreational facilities, access to the aviation companys air and ground transport services, and many other unique benefits that make the company stand out among its competitors in terms of employee welfare. However, the most surprising aspect of Saudi Aramcos employee welfare package is their education compensation plan. Paying for the entire five-year period a potential employee spends in university not only demonstrates the companys commitment to employee empowerment but also shows how concerned it is about academic advancement among its employees.Working for Saudi Aramco amidst such a rich selection of employment benefits encouraged me to take more risks. Therefore, I decided to take the greatest risk in my life and quit the Saudi Aramco job to pursue my business ventures. I always wanted to run my business, so back in High School, I started smal l projects to hone my entrepreneurial skills without executing anything too big or risky. My initial plan had been to run my business while working for Saudi Aramco on a parallel basis to guarantee me job security and develop my business management skills something I thought possible at the time. Therefore, when I started operations in 2009 and landed my first project involving solar-powered energy a relatively lucrative idea back then, the resultant success bolstered my resolve to continue pursuing my dream.I managed my new business throughout my studies and graduated in 2011.
